General comment on data set Acoustic ceiling finishCalculation rules: Input and output data are supplied by AcoSorb and their suppliers for materials, energy, direct emissions, production waste, and packaging. For the model a layer thickness of 1 cm is used. The following processes are not included in this LCA, because the contribution to the various environmental effects of these processes is expected to be less than 1%: • Packaging of raw materials for suppliers. • Capital goods. The data supplied is <2 Years old and is fully technological and geographical representative.Scenarios and additional technical information Acospray consists of wastepaper with additives. The suppliers are of EU origin. All raw materials are transported to Acosorb in Amstelveen. From Amstelveen it is transported to the installation location. At the installation locating the wastepaper and additives are mixed with water. With a electrical pump and blower machine the Acospray is applied. For the disposal no machine is used and the waste is incinerated at a waste disposal location.More information: https://www.acosorb.nl

1This impact category deals mainly with the eventual impact of low dose ionizing radiation on human health of the nuclear fuel cycle. It does not consider effects due to possible nuclear accidents, occupational exposure nor due to radioactive waste disposal in underground facilities. Potential ionizing radiation from the soil, from radon and from some construction materials is also not measured by this indicator.
2The results of this environmental impact indicator shall be used with care as the uncertainties on these results are high or as there is limited experiences with the indicator.
